The Word of Victory

March 26, 2023 Preacher: Andrei Ramos Series: 7 Last Words of Jesus on the Cross

Topic: The Gospel Scripture: John 19:30

Jesus' sixth saying from the cross, "It Is Finished!" was Christ's cry of profound significance and ultimate joy, which must have resounded throughout the entire universe as the Lord Jesus pronounced His triumphant victory over sin, Satan, and death. It was for this cause that Christ was born into this world when He emptied Himself of His former glory by assuming the form of a slave, and taking upon Himself the likeness of man, for He came to seek and to save that which was lost and to call sinners to repentance. He came to be the propitiation for our sins.
